- Day 1: Dehradun - Sankri
Day 1 is all about traveling from Dehradun to
Sankri. You'll start early and cover a distance of 210 kilometers, passing through
the scenic Govind National Park. Expect to reach Sankri by evening, just in
time to watch a beautiful sunset over the Himalayas. Then, you'll stay
overnight in Sankri, resting up for the adventure ahead.
- Day 2: Sankri - Juda Ka Talab
On Day 2, you'll trek from Sankri to Juda Ka
Talab, covering a distance of 6 kilometers in about 5 hours. This part of the
trek takes you to an altitude of 9100 feet, offering stunning views and a
peaceful night's stay at Juda Ka Talab.
- Day 3: From Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha
Base Trek
Next, it will be a shorter trek from Juda Ka
Talab to Kedarkantha Base, spanning 4 kilometers over 2.5 hours. You'll reach
an altitude of 11250 feet, navigating through dense pine and oak forests. The
day ends with stargazing and an overnight stay amidst the chilly surroundings.

- Day 4: Kedarkantha Base Camp -
Kedarkantha Peak & Return to Base

Kedarkantha Base Camp to the peak and back. This 7-kilometer journey, taking
6-7 hours, brings you to the summit at 12500 feet. After the exhilarating
climb, you'll descend to Hargaon camp or Juda ka Talab for dinner and overnight
stay.
- Day 5: Back to Sankri from Juda ka
Talab
Finally, Day 5 marks your return to Sankri
from Juda ka Talab, bringing the memorable expedition to a close. You'll have
meals throughout the day and then either stay overnight in Sankri or depart for
Dehradun, reaching by the evening.
- Day 6: Sankri - Dehradun

452 km. You can take a direct bus from Delhi to Dehradun, and then another

- By Air: For a quicker option, fly from Delhi to Jolly
Grant Airport in Dehradun. From there, you can hire a taxi directly to
Kedarkantha. If you're looking to save money, a bus ride from Dehradun is
a cost-effective alternative. Morning flights are recommended for better
connectivity to Kedarkantha.
- By Rail: A train journey from Delhi to Rishikesh, the
